在VMware里怎么使用U盘？

请问高手：

我在windows 2000 prof  里安装了VMware 4.0，VMware安装了个Redhat 9.0 服务器版。

按照论坛里的贴子，

fdisk -l  /dev/sd?

显示如下：

Disk /dev/sda: 4294 MB, 4294967296 bytes
255 heads, 63 sectors/track, 522 cylinders
Units = cylinders of 16065 * 512 = 8225280 bytes

   Device Boot    Start       End    Blocks   Id  System
/dev/sda1   *         1        13    104391   83  Linux
/dev/sda2            14       140   1020127+  83  Linux
/dev/sda3           141       173    265072+  82  Linux swap

cat  /proc/scsi/scsi

VMware 设置里USB选中了auto

我没安装VMware tools
为什么我会看不见USB盘呢？

哦，我搞定了！
不过不知道是为什么！
哈哈！
重新在vmware里安装了一遍redhat 9.0 全装版！
再接着安装vmware工具！
插入usb盘。
OK
自动提示找到新的usb盘！
mkdir /mnt/usb
mount -t vfat /dev/sdb1 /mnt/usb
完成，usb可读写！
