系统MDK10,下载gtk+-2.4.3.tar.gz,安装提示,需要GLib,atk,pango,三个软件包.下载glib,atk.pango,软件包,并编译安装在/usr下.再进入gtk+-2.4.3目录,运行./configure命令后提示ackage pango was not found in the pkg-config search path . Perhaps you should add the directory containing 'pango.pc' to the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable .No package 'pango' found.
但是pango软件包我下载并已安装在/usr下了.查看/usr/lib/pkgconfig目录,有pango.pc文件.
问:1,pango.pc文件除了/usr/lib/pkgconfig目录外,还有别的安放点吗?
2,pkg-config除了检索/usr/lib/pkgconfig目录外,还要检索别的目录吗?
3,请教,我这个软件不能安装的问题,如何才能解决?

impossible and completely unsupported. You will want to upgrade to full
Cooker, or recompile all Gnome 2.6 packages on Mandrakelinux 10 (this last
solution is also unsupported, but it should work with a bit of work).
