error opening terminal: linux

gentoo linux
kernel 2.4.20
装完基本系统后重启,然后执行一个程序,如:
nano -w xxxx
就会出现这个错误。
这是怎么回事?各位请帮帮忙!!!谢谢!!!!!

等一下噢,我还在用 2.4.19  版内核,看来是时候尝新的了

刚才 emrge gentoo-sources 时发现一个 Gentoo 的补丁包名字变成了 patches-2.4.19-gentoo-r10.tar.bz2,而且比原来 r9 时大了一倍(r9 的补丁包是 1.3M, r10 刚好 2.6M,不知道是否是 2.4.20 的内核)

两个内核都试一下
昨天 Coolove 也碰到 2.4.20 版内核无法启动 USB 输入设备的问题。。。
你先帮他看一下

打补丁的时候注意了一下,居然增加了 Mandrake 的 SuperMount!!!Cool 啊!!! :D

你一定用的不是xterm
换成xterm吧

xterm不是图形界面下的吗?我还没有图形界面啊。

很奇怪,怎么居然出了这种错误?!

我的 Character devices 里是这样保持默认设置,运行得很好,你是不是改了?(应该不会去改这里吧?!但似乎也只有这里才会出现你这样的错误。。。)

没有改那里。你可以将你的inittab发出来看看吗?还有rc.conf.
