怎么用make编译这个文件?(sis315显卡驱动)

sis315 for Linux的官方驱动,我从sis的官方站点下载的。在sis650主板(集成sis315)安装无误。
1.cp sis_drv.o-410 /usr/X11R6/lib/modules/drivers/sis_drv.o

2.make sure /etc/X11/XF86Config file has the correct "driver" section.driver "sis"

3.startx.

为什么我执行第2步 不成功呢,说什么 sure 没这个 选项?

麻烦各位 帮帮我,我刚接触 linux

看看你的 /etc/X11/XF86Config

由于我是第一次弄 Linux ,所以我用 Xconfigurator 瞎弄了好几次,数据可能已经不对了!

另外我的显卡在 WIN XP 里测出来是 SIS 315 显存 是 64M
我装的是 Red Hat Linux 7.2

我把 要改的地方 都改了,startx 黑屏了几秒 然后 又回到 字符状态了?这怎么办啊?

我知道了, 第2行 是说 确定XF86Config文件里的driver这一行是否有"sis",没有的话可能要自己手工改!

但 到底 怎么改呢? 我现在是 一头雾水 !

我已经快崩溃了!已经弄了好几天了!

我把机器拆了,看了显卡 是 AGP 的 上面写着 AG315P-64

可能是 AGP 315 64M 的意思吧!

有没有人能 指导 我一下,那个关于 SIS 的驱动我也下了,也拷贝到指定的位置了,然后 怎么配置 XF86Config 啊? 帮帮我吧!最后能具体点!

起作用的是XF86Config-4,把这一段注释掉:

Section "Device"
Identifier "Linux Frame Buffer"
Driver "fbdev"
BoardName "Unknown"
EndSection

Driver "sis"
改成
Driver "vesa


升级内核 ,如果不想自己编译,下载rh9的内核装上

你的 XF86Config 和 XF86Config-4 文件中 [code:1] Section &quot;Screen&quot; [/code:1] 和
[code:1] DefaultDepth [/code:1] 和 [code:1] SubSection &quot;Display&quot; [/code:1] 设置的太混乱了吧?

你的显示器和显卡在 windows 下可以达到什么模式 ?

你用 xf86cfg 配置一下, 如果可以起动 X , 那么不要将 xf86cfg 建立的配置文件覆盖
/etc/X11/XF86Config 文件, 另外保存,再修改,主要改一下 那个 [code:1]dirver[/code:1]
选项, 如果你的显示器可以上到 24bit + 1024x768 , 那么在
[code:1] Section &quot;Screen&quot; [/code:1] 里添加
[code:1] DefaultDepth 24 [/code:1]
大致像这样:
[code:1]
Section &quot;Screen&quot;
        Identifier &quot;Screen0&quot;
        Device     &quot;Card0&quot;
        Monitor    &quot;Monitor0&quot;
        DefaultDepth    24
