I have installed Kernel 2.6.0 for N times, but got no success. The network could not be brought up, and in the boot time, I saw a message that there were a address of 127.0.0.1. How can it be that?

My ifcfg-lo file:

IPADDR=127.0.0.1

NETWORK=127.0.0.0

i can only find that u use dhcp. but what is the error message? :-(

don't use dhcp if you want to specify your ip address

Even I use a static ip -- 192.168.0.100, it still has these messages when I tried to bring up the network.

Error, some other host already uses address 127.0.0.1.

Note: Now my computer doesn't connect to the network yet, so it's imporsible having the ip 192.168.0.100.
