迅驰的本子上可以装redhat9吗

迅驰的本子上可以装redhat9吗，我先装的win2000,在第一次重起时换入linux盘，进入界面时loading XXXdevicers,然后光盘就不转了。结交各位这是咋回事儿。急，谢谢！！！

可以装，我现在在用。我用的联想的E360

it should not be the problem of the CPU.
Where did the startup stop? are you able to paste a screen shot?
