如何进窗口模式菜鸟问题大家帮忙

本人安装的是  Mandrake Linux 9.1  是用光盘安装
安装前已经有了 windows  xp 系统
linux  安装完后就出现多系统选择栏
刚开始是进 linux 没有什么问题可是一进到 xp
然后在进 linux 就进到命令模式
我是初学者不知道如何用命令  我想进到窗口模式大家帮忙

startx is a mehtord,this is another methored:
when you log(root) in.do:
vi /etc/inittab
then,you will see this senthese:
#......
#......(i don't write)
id:3:initdefault

this is the first line)
you should change 3 to 5.
then ,restart. and ok
