我的猫在win2000下显示的是Agere soft modem,是深圳腾达公司（型号TEM5628）的,芯片组可能是朗讯(看下面)

装之前用scanmodem的工具扫了一下,什么也没显示,是不是我下的这个包不支持这个modem?
我先后装过的驱动（在论坛里找的）ltmodem-kv_2.4.20_8-8.26a9-1.i686.rpm
－》ltmodem-8.26a9.tar.gz
装的过程好像没麻烦,最后autoload后,
我用了kppp拨号,提示说没有拨号音,在设备里换了几个也不行.请大家看看我的驱动对不对
哪儿有正确下载的或这种猫根本不支持?

我的猫也是这个，安装驱动（ltmodem-8.26a9.tar.gz ）后能找到Lucent Modem，但是用wvdial拨号后提示没有拨号音，用kppp拨号则总是重拨，用lspci -vv 查看后有:Interrupt: pin A routed to IRQ 18 ，是不是IRQ冲突？ 现在用的是Mandrake9.1，以前在RH7.2下也是没有拨号音。

我记得我改过IRQ,2-9都试了试,但都不行,

那你现在在Mandrake9.1下可以使用这个猫吗? 用的哪个驱动?

还是没有拨号音。不知道什么原因。

答案是不幸的：Linux目前不支持Lucent soft modem。所以要麽自己动手写一个，要麽就换一个Linux支持的modem。比如Intel芯片的。
