GTK+2.0编程至少需要多大的库？

请教各位大虾，用GTK+2.0编界面，环境至少需要多大的容量？
听别人说用QT的话，只需要9M左右的大小。
另外，GTK和QT界面编程各有什么优缺点？
我已经用GTK编号了一套界面系统，但是用户又要求用QT，
所以我想说服他们，免得我重复劳动。

老兄。我也编了个GTK程序，但编译不能通过。我已经装了gimp-1.3.2了。
出错的信息是：

楼上上的 一般的正常安装的话就可以用gtk的库了 我想自己编译进全部的gtk库不说大小 技术上也应该比较麻烦吧 这就好比你用vc作的东西的库 微软已经给你放在系统里了 可以要编译进那些mfc40xx.dll的也很难吧

楼上的反正我的机器上的gtk1.0和gtk2.0的inlcude是分开的 没有gtk这个目录的 你看的是不是比较老的书？
