XFree86 4.3 supports zh_CN.GB?

does it supports zh_CN.GB18030?

I installed XF86 4.3 from source tree,

then gnome applications fail because
"locale not supported by Xlib"
is this hard-coded?
I changed locale.alias, doesn't work

so I had to use zh_CN and zh_CN.gbk
but this time XIM doesn't work,

chinput and fcitx all fail

anybody has an idea? thanks!
