安装程序时，CC编译器报错！求救

我的爱机缺省安装了RH8，桌面操作系统
在安装mySQL 执行了./configure后就报错：
no acceptable cc found in $PATH

在安装gcc的时候，执行了./configure之后报错：
./configure: line 7: cc: command not found
***The command 'cc -o congtest -g conftest.c' failed.
***You must set the environment variable CC to a working compiler.

可是我不知道CC究竟是什么，该如何解决这样的问题呢？我该做些什么？

你根本没有安装编译器，怎么编译程序呢

赶快安装一个gcc吧

我安装时好像没有提示出错，可是我在用emacas时候，却出现了“
make -k ee
c ee.c -o ee
make:cc:command not found
make:***[ee] Error 127"

是不是也是因为gcc出错？
