how to list the directories

How to list the directories under a certian directory??

For example: how to list only directories(not files) under /home??

if I use "ls -ld /home" it only shows "."

please help me. thanks

because you use a options -d ,this option will only display the dir itselft.
Please use ls -l /home.It's ok.
