oracle8i在linux9的安装步骤

我您的办法安装，下载了补丁，也安装了jdk1.4.1_05,有没有影响。我在控制台下不能出现安装画面。在x-window下有安装画面，但很模糊，看不清画面上的字符，如next什么的，怎么办？

在控制台下输入以下指令：
export DISPLAY="192.9.200.2 4:0.0"
把那个IP改成你电脑得就OK了。

您好：我尝试oracle安装好几次了，都以失败告终
今天我按照您说的来设置，除了JDK是j2skd1.4.2，补丁没有安装以外，基本相同
运行的结果如下：
oracle$./runInstaller

linux9.0下安装oracle一路无错误的安装下去，但是到最后net8,跟数据据创建就是起不来，挂在哪里是什么回事，我java是用jdk118_v3.tar.gz,这个有没有关系

RedHat9 上安装Oracle8.1.7，昨天开始已经尝试了很多次，安装到差不多97%提示ins_rdbms.mk出错。
现在不知道改怎么处理？请大家帮忙，给些参考意见。实在不行我只能换Oracle9i试试了。
