Linux下通用摄像头驱动spca5xx的安装求救

我在redhat 9.0下安装几次都失败了，总是出现下面的错误，我在网上找安装步骤是在FC3下安装过程，是否这个版本不能用在redhat 9.0，还是？？请那位高手给解决一下，或者推荐一个驱动安装。

Spca5xx通用摄像头驱劝

安装步骤:
tar xfz spca5xx-20060402.tar.gz
cd spca5xx-20060402
make clean
make
make install
modprobe videodev(可省略)
modprobe spca50x

那么在RH9下有没有比较好的驱动可以装，现在做毕设，导师要求必须用着个系统，真郁闷啊！！！！！
