运行./Makefile时提示权限不够.求救!!!!!!!!

下了一个.tar.gz,我直接双击把它解压缩
进入他解压的目录然后运行./Makefile
结果显示:
bask: ./Makefile  :权限不够.
我上百度搜不到解决的方法(可能我的搜索方法不到家)
现在凡是.tae.gz结尾的软件都装不了.
请大虾救救我!!
万分感激!!!!

不是这样吧，按INSTALL先
(linux系统下甚至连readme文件都可以被设置成可执行属性)

一般
configure
make
make install（这步一般要切成root用户）

是这样的,我下了一个LinuxDown想加速下载.
解压缩后就出现以下的文件:
DandiBase.h
Dandi.c
DownFromFTP.h
DownFromHTTP.h
GenFunc.h
Makefile(这个应该是安装程序吧?没有后缀名的)
README(这个也没有后缀名)

In order to install this software named linuxdown made by kongyang(Shanghai Jiao Tong University, China), you must do the following steps.
tar -xf linuxdown.tar
make
That's ok.

我是用root的身分登录的,还说我权限不够,岂有此理....

这个是源程序，请执行如下命令：
make
就可以了，这个似乎没有用automake。

&&下载加速推荐Downloader for X（d4x）或者Prozilla吧……

几个头文件就可以编译吗？没遇到过的哦。是不是要cp到什么软件目录里去呀。

各位大哥,经过你我的辛勤劳动,终于.............终于..................
终于什么,还是不会,-_-|||
肯可能我的操作有大错误...因为我刚刚又下载了一个.tar.gz
双击解压缩后,打开终端把凡是没有后缀的我都输入,结果还是说我权限不够..

我下载了上面的那个Downloader for X 2.5.请大虾给我一个步骤.我急得想死了,什么也不会装..郁闷!!!!!!!!!!!

肯定源文件有错，d4x不会只有这几个文件的。换个地方下吧

那几块文件不是属于Downloader的,
我的意思是.我一共下载了两个.tar.gz东东.
而两都是同一个问题==>权限不够..
那几块文件是属于另一个.tar.gz压缩包的
你误会咯..

安装不是运行./Makefile而是直接输入make,由automake这个系统程序读取Makefile,帮你运行，如他说Makefile不存在则可能要先运行./configure,由他创建Makefile

我输入./configure后有反应了.
出现一行行的
cheaking for 什么什么
cheaking for 什么什么
接着我就运行./Makefile 说:"没有那个文件或目录"
请问我下一步我应该做什么?

这说明configure没有成功。看看configure报什么错，不过十有八九是没有装gtk2的开发库。

我一直觉得自己编译软件是一件很郁闷的事情，所以我会让有经验又有时间的人去做这件事，然后把它上传到Mandriva的软件仓库中，我用urpmi 就可以安装了。比如d4x在Mandriva里就有提供，在Debian里也有提供。
