求助怎样使用本本上无线网卡！！！

本本：TOSHIBA PORTEGE R100
系统：Red hat enterprise as 4  
无线设备：lspci | grep 2100 =====>>>>
02:0a.0 Network controller: Intel Corp. PRO/Wireless LAN 2100 3B Mini PCI Adapter (rev 04)
现在光看见有设备，没办法使用呀！谁能教我一下！

没法用是指？

只有以太网eth0接口设备,无线联接的时候,没有设备!
添加一个无线联接时,不能找到无线设备,
新建一个以太网联接时,能看见设备,并建立eth1 设备,但不能起动,是不是无线设备认成以太网设备了?????

把AP设置为开放式，看看有没有信号。用iwconfig也行，我的卡跟你的一样，只要用了加密就连不上，WEP没信号，AP端显示一直在认证，郁闷死了。我用的ubuntu，SuSE9.3可以正常使用。

1)first, install 3 ipw2100 files,see http://ipw2100.sourceforge.net/
or use yumex, it is more easy to use.
then activate NetworkManager, NetWorkManagerDispatcher services --
if your box has not such services, please use yum install packages:
NetworkManager, NetworkManager-glib and NetworkManager-gnome

2)then go to your network setup, delete the uncorrect wireless equipment,mine
is Intel Corporation PRO/Wireless LAN2100 3B Mini PCI Adapter.
in Command line, input cmd:
modprobe ipw2100

to see if moulds properly loaded

3)then open network setup utilities again, here you can add your wireless equipment ,
it should recongnize it correctly. In wireless setup tab, set mode to Auto.

4)run cmd:
iwlist scanning
to see if your access point there

5)run NetworkManagerInfo, it will scanning network automatically, and select your AP,
it will ask you your WEP. after enter it, the wireless signal quality will display in the panel,
and till then you can enjoy your wireless freedom!
