Alexander Dymo is a Ph.D. student and a part-time lecturer at Information Control Systems and Technologies department in National University of Shipbuilding, Mykolayiv, Ukraine. His area of research at the university is a project management of free and open source projects.
He has also been a free software developer since 2002 when he started hacking on KDE. Currently he act as a maintainer and release coordinator of KDevelop IDE project.
Alexander has participated in last two KDE summits Kastle 2003 and aKademy 2004 (see here), prepared a presentation with Harald Fernengel for KDE Users Conference during aKademy event (see here). He also act as KDE and KDevelop "evangelist" in Ukraine introducing KDevelop into education and giving talks at various conferences in Ukraine (for example those organized by www.osdn.ua ).
