blackbox上firefox的字体

我的gentoo，按照网上的说明捣鼓了半天，我的firefox在blackbox下看中文还凑合，用的simsun。但是英文发虚，模糊，见图一 firefox－1。
有文章说是没有开hint，我就开了hint，在fonts.conf，在about:config里面都检查了。还是一样。后来在找到下面这段;

看内容好像是把aa给关了。什么的，现在显示如图二;firefox-2,但是tab上的字体很怪，不知道怎么调，也不知道为什么，还请高人指点，不过已经可以用了就是了。

偶尔会有丢失的现象，应该没删，我现在还能看到呢＠＠

可以修改一下simsun字体，找一个好看的英文点阵字体加进去
