重装proftpd后又发现问题

我安装的proftpd不能登入,于是我又安装了一次,这次发现在./configure时会出现很多checking ....no的情况:

....

checking for sys/wait.h that is POSIX.1 compatible... yes
等,请问这样会不会影响编译的结果啊.
我装的gcc是2.96版本的,我的linux是redhat linux 3.2.2-5
请问这是为什么?
