安装显卡驱动的错误？？？

安装显卡驱动的错误？？？  
NVIDIA GeForce 2 MX 400
我安装好NVIDIA-Linux-x86-1.0-4496-pkg2.run后，修改了/etc/X11/XF86config文件
在load "dbe"
  load "dri"前加上＃
  找到"section "device"中，"Driver "nv" "改成"Driver "nvidia" "后startx
  闪了一下出现NVIDIA的logo,然后出现那个redhat的启动画面,进入系统。
  当我运行xrandr改变刷新时却出错，这是为什么？难道我没装好显卡驱动
