内核编译问题，WHY？

本菜鸟在编译内核时候出现错误，望高手指点，错误如下：
[hotplay_pci.o]  error1
leabing directory    '/usr/src/linux-2.4.7-10/drivers/hotplug'
[first_rule] error2
leabing directory    '/usr/src/linux-2.4.7-10/drivers/hotplug'
[_subdir_hotplug]   error2
leabing directory    '/usr/src/linux-2.4.7-10/drivers'
[_dir_drivers]  error2

我接着用dmesg|more  查看系统信息，发现NO plug &  play device found
于是我就吧PLUG &PLAY DEVICE SUPPORT   选择“N”
重新编译，最后还是这样，不知道是为什么？

我重新编译了一遍，出现了另外的一个问题：

是不是驱动程序问题？还是～～？？

i remember that i compiled the 2.4.7-10 before. can u make distclean and try again from beginning. if still have errors, i do not have idea too.

i download linux2.4.18  AND comple it ,now ,it is ok now! yeah!

by the way, where can i  download the sofeware :  (1)inet6-apps     (2)net-tools-1.52
i seek many webs ,but hav't find it .
