安装声卡驱动（SB LIVE）出现的问题

各位好，
我是LINUX的新手，上个月刚刚开始接触LINUX。在声卡的配置方面出现点困难。
我的声卡是创新的SB live 5!。从论坛上了解到应该安装ALSA。但是我在安装的时候出现了点问题。
1：ALSA
将ALSA-DRIVER。。解压后，进入其目录。
但是在
# ./configure 是出现了问题，提到找不到/linclue/linux/version.h的文件。

我的系统环境是：Fedora 1 (Yallow)
kernel 版本是 2.4.22-1.2199 nptl.

我查看了安装过程中的提示。是否我应该创建对应的路径和文件？
如果是需要创version.h文件，请问如何创建，内容写什么。。。

或者通过改变内核可以解决以上问题？

请指教！

我同样的卡为什么每次都自动识别。
安装alsa好象只要系统识别了声卡都可以装吧。
你完全可以下一个rpm的装上。

估计是LINUX的版本问题啊，UBUNTU几乎没有认不出的硬件啊

下载对应版本的内核源码，解开以后make menuconfig一下，再编译安装alsa试试看

already re-install new kernel (version: 2.6.12.4) & succeed in installing alsa (version 1.0.9b).
Audio output is USB audio. Could you tell me how to install USB audio.
And by the way, under the GNOME-Windows,I try to click to audio icon,computer give me a message for" couldn't  open mixer device /dev/sound/mixer"

Could you tell me what is the reason behind of this message: does it means that alsa is not installed correctly?

USB声卡？好象要在BIOS里设置什么吧？我没用过USB的声卡。。。你可以到
www.linux-usb.org看看。
第2个，你先运行alsaconf看看

Now as for alsa... the problem is solved. (I installed alsa-lib & alsa-utils )
Now I feel good to hear music...(by Headphone)

As for USB audio, i am still in searching & learning..

LINUX对USB的设备一直支持的很差的，这是我最不爽linux的一点，可能的话，最好别在linux下用这些USB设备
