fcitx problem on slackintosh

Slackintosh is a Linux distribution based on Slackware, but built for Apple's Mac computers. Mac computers are using PowerPC (RISC) CPU. Unlike x86, PowerPC is big-endian.

I have met a problem with fcitx 3.1.1 on slackintosh. Fcitx is able to run on slackintosh. But every Chinese character is displayed as space or square in the input bar and status bar.

I tried to contact the fcitx author, however I could not connect fcitx.org. Can anyone here help me figure out a solution, or forward my question to fcitx.org? Thanks a lot for help!
